About Us

Wembley Estate is a family-owned tea estate and farm located near Kandy, Sri Lanka.

We have been operating as a social enterprise since 1996, generating employment and vocational training opportunities for those in need.

The revenue generated from the sale of tea, fruits and spices go to serve the needs of the community of Kovilakanda.

Our Location

Wembley Estate sits on 25 acres of lush greenery, nestled in the central hills and overlooking the mystical Bible Rock and the Alagalla mountain range. Due to its elevation, Kovilakanda is blessed with mild weather and breathtaking vistas.

Wembley Estate is a 40 minute drive from Peradiniya Gardens, and a 55 minute drive from Kandy City Center.
